Pumpkin (Jack O' Lantern) Seeds

Grow your own Jack O’ Lanterns and use this heirloom pumpkin for baking delicious fall goodies like pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread or pumpkin spice muffins! Give these plants plenty of room and compost and they will produce good-sized carving pumpkins that weigh 7-10 lbs. Smaller pumpkins can be used for baking and are a great source of vitamins A and C.

Where to plant :: Plant pumpkins in warm, fertile soil with plenty of organic matter and full sun exposure.

When to start inside ::  In cold climates start seeds indoors 3-4 weeks before your last frost date.

When to sow outside :: Directly sow or transplant pumpkins in the garden in the spring after danger of frost has passed and the soil has warmed.
